Ministry for Musicians and Artists

What to expect on a musicians retreat.

Enemy Love Records exists to provide ministry to Catholic Musicians and artists.

Artists are usually the ones facilitating ministry, therefore it is important that they are encountering God on a regular basis.

We offer a wealth of experience in up front ministry across 5 different countries.

Currently, working for the Archdiocese of Brisbane, we encounter a range of age demographics and cultures which we find incredibly informative in our ministry.

We ourselves are musicians, we think and pray like artists and we understand how important it is to assist artists in their spiritual lives.

THE MINISTRY WE OFFER

RETREAT FOR MUSICIANS

This retreat runs from 9-3pm with an optional evening session including Mass and Adoration. Musicians will be encouraged and taught how to slow down into 'retreat mode'. Musicians will make space for Jesus to speak to them through the scriptures and will have their own opportunities for personal prayer and reflection.

BIBLE STUDY FOR ARTISTS

There's something beautiful that happens when you gather artists in a room to discuss scripture. As we look at the parables through the lens of Jesus as an artist, we find that God the creator himself gave us the ability to create and when we partake in this, we partake in a God given gift. Participants have shared with us that these bible studies have helped reignite their creative juices and encouraged them to lean into God for inspiration in their art.

HEALING RETREAT

Healing is such an important aspect of our Christian Journey. Christ wants to heal us of our ailments, physically and spiritually. This often requires deep work and attentiveness to the Holy Spirit within our own hearts. In this retreat, participants will be encouraged to look at their own lives and where they need healing, and will also be given opportunities to present it to God in prayer, to ask him to work in their lives.
